Why Choose Us for a Water Heater Flush

Add Years to Your Tank

Sediment is what kills water heaters early. A regular flush keeps the burner working efficiently and the tank from rotting from the inside.

Hotter Water, Lower Bills

A clean tank heats faster and holds temperature longer. You get hot water sooner and pay less to make it.

Done Right, Start to Finish

We drain, flush until the water runs clear, check the anode rod, and inspect the T&P valve before we button it back up.

What Our Customers Say

"Dylan and Jason came to clean our dryer vents and check our filter on the tankless water the heater. They are both sooo pleasant, walked us through everything they were doing. They could have charged us for services that weren't needed due to our lack of knowledge but they didn't. I would recommend them to all my friends."

- Karen Bryant

Beaumont, CA

"Ryan's Home Services Inc. is reliable and professional. They did a wonderful job installing the netting around my solar panels and cleaned up the panels. I also had their team handle my hot water heater flush, and the job was done well too. They have a very nice and professional team, and they answered all my questions."

Water Heater Flush: Get More Years Out of Your Tank

Ask ten Inland Empire homeowners when they last flushed their water heater and nine of them will give you a confused look. The thing sits in the garage, quietly humming along, and nobody thinks about it until the day it stops making hot water or starts leaking onto the floor. The truth is, a regular water heater flush in Beaumont, CA is one of the cheapest pieces of maintenance you can do, and it pays you back in extra years on your tank.

The water out here is brutally hard. Calcium, magnesium, and other minerals come in with every gallon, settle to the bottom of your tank, and slowly bake into a crusty layer of sediment. That layer sits right on top of the burner (or around the lower element on electric units). The heater has to fight through it to warm the water above, which means longer recovery times, higher bills, and a tank slowly cooking itself from the inside.

The Real Cost of Skipping It

A neglected tank can lose 3 to 5 years off its life span. Easily. We've pulled tanks out of garages here in Beaumont and Banning that were only 8 years old but completely shot, and the bottom looked like the inside of a coffee pot that hadn't been cleaned since the Bush administration. A flush every year would have made that tank a 15-year unit instead of an 8-year one.

And it's not just the tank. The recovery rate gets worse, so your morning shower might go cold halfway through. The popping and rumbling noises (that's water flashing to steam under the sediment layer) get louder. And the gas or electric bill creeps up because the burner is running longer to do the same work.

How We Actually Do the Flush

We shut off the gas or power, kill the cold water supply, hook a hose to the drain valve, and run it to a safe drain spot. Then we open the valve and flush until the water runs clear. On heavily neglected tanks, we'll cycle the cold water back on a few times to break up the sediment so it actually comes out instead of just packing tighter.

While we're in there, we check the anode rod (the magnesium or aluminum stick that sacrifices itself so your tank doesn't rust), inspect the T&P valve to make sure it's not seized, and look over the supply lines and drain valve for any drips. If the anode rod is mostly gone, we'll let you know. Replacing it can buy you years more life.

When a Flush Isn't the Right Move

Hot take: not every water heater is a candidate for flushing. If your tank is already 12+ years old, has visible rust on the bottom, or has never been flushed in its life, sometimes a flush can disturb sediment that was actually plugging a small leak. We always inspect first and tell you the truth. If it makes more sense to plan a replacement, we'll say that instead of charging you for a service that won't help.
