Here's the honest take. A wall-mounted TV isn't just a looks thing. It clears up your media console, kills the risk of a toddler pulling it over, and it puts the screen at the right height for actual viewing (instead of craning your neck up at the fireplace). But the install has to be done right. A cheap mount screwed into drywall anchors is a call we've been out on more than once. The TV comes down eventually, and it usually takes a chunk of the wall with it.

What's Included in Our Flat Rate

• Stud location and marking. We use a real stud finder, not the app on your phone, and confirm with a small pilot hole before drilling for real.
• Mount installation. Fixed, tilt, or full-motion. Whatever mount you brought or the one we brought along.
• TV hang and level. Big screens get two techs. We check level twice before letting go.
• Basic cable management. A tidy tuck behind the console or a low-profile channel to hide power and HDMI runs.
• Test everything. Plug it in, power it on, confirm the picture works, and hand you the remote.

Fixed, Tilt, or Full-Motion: Which Mount to Pick

This trips up a lot of folks. Fixed mounts sit closest to the wall (about an inch off) and never move. Great for eye-level installs on a plain wall where you watch from straight ahead. Tilt mounts let you angle the screen down 5 to 15 degrees, which is the right call for anything mounted higher than eye level, especially over a fireplace. Full-motion mounts swing out and pivot, which is perfect for corner rooms, open kitchens, or any spot where you watch from more than one angle. They cost a little more but the flexibility is worth it in the right room.

Hiding the Cables (The Part Most DIY Jobs Skip)

A crooked black cord hanging down from a floating TV kind of ruins the whole look. On most interior drywall walls we can install a recessed in-wall power kit that routes the plug and HDMI cables inside the wall cavity. You get the "no cables" look for real. On exterior walls, stone, or brick where cutting into the wall isn't safe or code-friendly, we install a paintable surface raceway that blends in cleanly. Either way, no more visible cords.

Mounting Above the Fireplace

This is our number one call, especially in the newer builds around Beaumont and Calimesa. Two things to know. First, viewing angle. Over-fireplace mounts are almost always too high for straight-on viewing, so a tilting or full-motion mount is a must. Second, heat. Gas fireplaces put out a surprising amount of heat directly above the firebox. We check the mantel setback and let you know if the TV needs to sit further up (or if the heat is fine).

What About the Soundbar, Shelves, and Extras?

We hang soundbars right under the TV as part of the same visit for a small add-on. Same for floating shelves on either side of the TV for game consoles or streaming boxes. Just mention it when you call so we can bring the right hardware.
